It is time to lace up those running shoes and register now for the 2nd Annual Giddy Up Race for Healthy Heads! Stay for the Super  post-race party and TOAST mom with a glass of Loudoun County brewed CIDER!  Why not bring Mom and kick off a memorable Mother's Day celebration!

Run the off-road course and help raise funds for healthy heads, including stroke, brain tumor and brain injury awareness and research!

Hosted by the Brad Kaminsky Foundation, the HOW Foundation of South Florida and KatMac Events.  Whether you choose to run the 15k or run/walk the 5k, your race will wind you through the beautiful Locust Hill Farm in Middleburg, VA.

Turn onto Zulla road from John Mosby Highway (rte 50) and then it is the first farm on the right off of Zulla (about 2 miles on Zulla) If you are coming from Rte 55, turn onto Zulla and it will be on the left side (about 8 miles on Zulla)

15k start at 8:00AM 
5k start at 8:45am
Followed by exciting post-race festivities!!

Awards for Top 3 School teams...

Ed Walsh Memorial Scholarship presented to: First, Second and Third Place Largest School Team! Get your school on board today!

Looking for the largest number of runners...runners may participate in 5k or 15k.  Top school WINS $1000 donation to their school athletic/other program.  Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place too!  

Awards for Top 3 Fastest 5k teams too!  Fastest 4 people on the teams times are least one male and one female must be part of team.  

Top Fundraising Team wins a FABULOUS champagne hunt country breakfast on the beautiful Locust Hill Farm!!  Breakfast to be scheduled at a mutually agreeable time for the team captain and 9 lucky team mates!  This is a get out there and raise lots of $$ for a GREAT cause!

Arrive early and carpool if you can!  It's sure to be an exciting race and our racers will love cheering spectators!

Proceeds from this event will benefit brain tumor/cancer research and  Dr. Linda Liau's brain tumor research at UCLA, The Help our Wounded Foundation whose mission is to  improve public health by raising awareness of hyperbaric oxygen treatment and assisting individuals in obtaining hyperbaric oxygen treatment for brain injury, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke and ongoing research, awareness and prevention of brain disease.
