Thank you from the Brovender Family and the National Blood Clot Alliance!
May 08, 2017
On Monday morning, February 29, 2016 our beautiful daughter, Allison Bree Senser, delivered her third daughter by cesarean section. On Tuesday evening, March 1, 2016 she developed a pulmonary embolism resulting in her passing at the tender young age of 35 on Wednesday, March 2, 2016.
Our hearts are broken but we will work diligently to raise awareness about this rare, but very serious and often times fatal condition. Pulmonary embolism is a leading cause of maternal deaths.
On Saturday morning, June 17, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. we will be participating in the Walk to Stop the Clot NYC with our team, Ali’s Allies, to honor the memory of this loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and remarkable young woman.
This three mile walk will travel through lower Manhattan, over the Brooklyn Bridge, and back again. Please join us as we travel through this journey, either in person or as a virtual walker and support Stop the Clot through the National Blood Clot Alliance.
