Veterans are men and women of greatness. Even the greatest of the great have difficulty when they are thrusted into the civilian world. I am asking assistance to create a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that will assist disabled military veterans through education and empowerment. It will place them in a civilian environment that is immensely related to the military environment they are accustomed to. This non-profit will create jobs and internships for disabled military veterans. These disabled veterans will travel around N. America with basic entry level race cars (some with hand controls and some without) and providing a mental and physical, educational, confidence building driving school to other disabled military veterans around N. America. Once they have completed the driving school, they can be entered into a local SCCA or NASA event with the cars from the Allied Nations Motorsports Team. There is no greater relationship than the military and motorsports.
Instead of trying to train and educate the more than 99% of the civilian population of the benifits that a veteran can bring to the workforce, I want to work with the less than 1% who have the drive and the ability to adapt. This non-profit will create a multitude of jobs and internships such as: Mechanics, Social media specialists, (for Facebook, YouTube and Instagram), Accountants, Marketing specialists, Photographers, Videographers, Commentators (for Youtube andn Pod Casts), UAV film and photo operators, Video editors, Human resource specialists, IT specialists, Webdesigners, Driving instructors, and much more. During this time frame it will allow veterans to have an extended transition into the civilian world and gain an understanding of how civilian minds work and allow the veterans to also transition into the civilian work force with that mindset and skills learned from the Allied Nations Motorsports Team.
When the veterans who are a part of the Allied Nations Motorsports Team are not educating, empowering and providing therapy for other disabled veterans, they will be competing in the Rally America and Canadian Rally Championships for their own therapy. As the Allied Nations Motorsports Team non-profit grows, they will expand into other forms of motorsports, such as: Road Racing, Endurance Road Racing, Off Road and Rally Cross. This non-profit will create a multitude of jobs and internships such as: Mechanics, Social media specialists (for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram), Accountants, Marketing specialists, Photographers, Videographers, Commentators (for a YouTube and Pod Cast channel), UAV film and photo operators, Video editors, Human Resources specialist, Webmaster and designer, Driving instructors and much more.
