BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
Hello, my name is Amy Driscoll McNulty. Originally from the Midwest, I now live in Scranton, PA with my husband and two daughters. Wellness is a big part of my life. In addition to being a runner, I am also a registered yoga teacher. Both activities give me joy, and in doing them, I strive to be a role model for my daughters; teaching them about the importance of exercise and the power they have to accomplish any goal they wish to achieve. Over the last seven years, I have run three full marathons and nine half-marathons. Running the TCS New York City Marathon has been a goal of mine, and I am thrilled to be running this November in partnership with Allied Services.
I am honored to be running for my sister-in-law Casey, whose perseverance and strength are an inspiration. Casey has a rare inflammatory disease called transverse myelitis which causes damage to the spinal cord and results in varying degrees of weakness. Casey has been working with Allied for several months now and is always positive and excited about her therapy and the progress she sees. Casey’s sister, Courtney, is also on the team. Courtney and I ran our first marathon together in 2012, and are excited to be joining forces to raise funds and awareness for programs and equipment that benefit Casey and so many others. mwu%)
