BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
My name is Andrea Sowden. I am a mom of two amazing children, registered nurse, and currently a graduate student. Running was something I was inspired to do after watching my first marathon and saw the true spirit of human will. I run for those who can't and I run for myself because it's something that I never thought I could do. I am a member of Can't is Not an Option (CINAO) and found some of the best people in my life by joining a running group. I have run several 5k and 10ks, 3 half marathons, and the Steamtown Marathon. My biggest personal goal is to run such an incredible race as the New York City Marathon and be a part of such an amazing charity and help raise money for the wonderful services that Allied Services provides for our community. 3u
