BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
Hi, I am James Jones. This will be my first time running the TCS New York City Marathon, but my second marathon overall. I am a resident of Moscow, Pennsylvania and a 2016 biology graduate of Marywood University. I currently work for the research and development division of a pharmaceutical company. Along with my passion for running, I am an avid CrossFitter and have been awarded the coolest human on earth by my 5 month old bichon pup, Finnley.
This November I will be running with “Team Leckey” in honor of my grandfather Stanley Gensiak or as he was known to my family, “Oppie”. My grandfather was a US Army Veteran serving from 1962 until 1965 in the 82nd Airborne Division based at Fort Bragg, NC. Prior to his passing from esophageal cancer in March 2004, he received extensive in home care from Allied Services. His passion for life and love of our family will be my inspiration for this marathon.
