BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
Julie Sidoni is a 15-year veteran of WNEP-TV and is the station's weekday anchor; you can catch her anchoring the Noon and 4pm newscasts solo and the 5pm with co-anchor Jon Meyer. She's also responsible for the station's Healthwatch 16 reports. Julie is a native of St. Marys, Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is currently working on her masters degree in creative writing from Wilkes University, hoping to realize a dream and turn all those book ideas into actual books! She lives with her husband and two sons in Kingston.
As a health reporter, Julie meets people from all over the area who rely on medical professionals- and the latest technologies- to heal from injury, recover from illness, and overcome all kinds of challenges. She feels lucky to be able to tell their stories, but she's always wanted to contribute more. She has found that chance being part of the WNEP’s Ryan's Run 8 Team. The TCS New York City Marathon will be her first marathon.
