BENEFITING: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALLIED SERVICES FOUNDATION
I'm proud to be running the TCS NYC Marathon to help children and adults with disabilities in NE and Central Pennsylvania served by Allied Services. Any size donation will help. Donate $30 in my honor and you'll be eligible to receive a cool moisture-wicking WNEP's Ryan's Run exercise shirt.
I am 30 years old and have lived in the Scranton, PA area nearly my whole life. I made a pit stop in Milwaukee, WI for nearly five years to attend Marquette University for Engineering. I am the Senior Design Engineer of Advance Ballistic Helmets at Gentex Corporation. What I love most about my job is the satisfaction of knowing I’m saving lives within the military community around the world. Gentex Corporation is a proud premier sponsor of Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Clash for Cash, which is the largest CrossFit competition planned in NEPA to date. Mohegan Sun Pocono’s Clash for Cash will bring together CrossFit athletes from around Pennsylvania to raise funds for children and adults with disabilities at Allied Services.
This will be my third time running the TCS NYC Marathon as part of WNEP's Ryan's Run Team. I have run marathons from coast to coast including, Salt Lake City, UT, Seattle, WA and Scranton, PA’s very own Steamtown Marathon. When not being an “enginerd” or on the road running, I can be found at CrossFit 570, which is considered my second home. I’m honored that I’ve been given the opportunity to be a part of WNEP's Ryan’s Run 8. Allied Services has helped many people, whether adults or children, get back to normal lifestyles after experiencing traumatic injuries.
