BENEFITING: American Cancer Society
When I thought about what I want for Christmas, I came to the conclusion that there is nothing I really need. I have too many gadgets, more books than I can ever read and too many DVDs getting dust. What I really want for Christmas is making an impact in the fight against cancer. My uncle lost his battle with cancer almost a year ago. Cancer ended my grandmother's life and my great aunt's life. My Godfather too. I've also lost three friends and associates to cancer in the last three years. Other friends and family have been diagnosed with cancer. I could go on and on. We all have our stories about cancer. So this year, whether you are family or friend or co-worker, please don't buy me anything. There's nothing I need. Money is better spent trying to make a difference in this world. So please, make a donation to the American Cancer Society and help make that difference.
