All Love Hip Hop Benefit Show for Migrant Childrend
Organized by: Jared Moreno
THE STORY:
With around 54,000 unaccompanied minors attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border, more than double in 2014 compared to 2013. As a result, we are organizing a response to help direct refugees to vital humanitarian resources such as food, water, shelter, medical assistance, travel expenses and legal assistance as they get dropped off at the bus stations. The non-profit group, Rapid Response Network, is helping to process children’s cases as they seek refugee status or asylum.
We are putting on a Hip Hop Benefit show. If you cannot attend the show, please donate money here.
All proceeds raised through the (August 23th) show will go to Rapid Response Network to help the children through legal assistance.
We are also doing this with the support of the dA Center for the Arts in Pomona
