In the spring of 2017, Don and I quit our jobs as Project Managers in the commercial construction industry to pursue our passions for climbing, kayaking, and the outdoors. We have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but we could never have made it this far without the help and support we received from our local climbing & paddling communities. We would like to pass on the knowledge and experience that was given to us by the countless volunteers, mentors, instructors and family members who helped us get to where we are today. We have decided to team up with Big City Mountaineers, an organization who sponsors expeditions for under-served youth who are interested in the outdoors. Our goal is to raise $5077.50, which equates to 25 cents per foot of elevation we will gain while climbing Denali. 100% of the proceeds raised during our trip will be put toward funding an expedition with Big City Mountaineers. We hope to inspire others to challenge what they consider possible and to push themselves outside of their own comfort zones in search for personal experience, growth, and progression. We look foward to having you join us on our journey and are thankful for anything you are able to contribute to our cause. Cheers!
