BENEFITING: ALS Association Greater New York Chapter
ORGANIZER: ALS Association Greater New York Chapter
I'm running the New York City Marathon this year in memory of my amazing, strong, and wonderful grandpa, Dennis Leininger.
Grandpa fought a hard battle with ALS which ended in August of 2014. Not a day goes by that I miss him, and wish I could hug him.
Because I know the feeling of loss that ALS causes for family and friends of those who are fighting that fight, I am dedicated to making sure as few people as possible have to experience that.
ALS is an ugly, horrific disease, but because of the efforts of the ALS Association's multiple branches, there are more and more breakthroughs being discovered.
Please help support my 26.2 miles in memory of my Grandpa, and in honor of those who are living with ALS. Be a part of a cure.
