BENEFITING: ALS THERAPY DEVELOPMENT FOUNDATION
HOURS PLEDGED: 100
I want the world to know that those diagnosed with ALS and their families, friends, and loved ones are not alone. We are all of them, and they are us (from something James Agee wrote). ALS is a challenge to our spirit and our shared human experience. Hope lives in how we work together to fund research, clinical trials, healthcare, and support for ALS. Because my sister's diagnosis is ALS, this fund gives hope.
Hope, love, and a tenacious hold on the human spirit represent her life. I can only follow her lead in helping to find a way for her and all ALS diagnosees to beat the persistence of hopelessness in the two words, no cure. The no cure stigma means we have not yet opened the door to understanding. Your gifts give hope. Please donate $1 ~ be a part of the 1 million donors for ALS research. ALS has a 5-star rating from Charity Navigator.
Thank you for your time reading my request ~ Most sincerely, Me, the Elder Sister
