Big Thanks and Tickets!

A Leg to Stand on (ALTSO) has teamed up with Tribeca Flashpoint on its mission to provide prosthetic limbs to children of the developing world.
90% of disabled children in the developing world are unable to attend school and receive a proper education due to long commutes and a lack of public transportation, leaving these children no further options than to spend their days begging on the street. Because of these statistics, the disabled are faced with a social stigma and are often viewed as financial burdens in the 3rd world. ALTSO works to change these realities with simple surgery, prosthetic devices, and rehabilitation. ALTSO covers 100% of the treatment costs for its patients, and continues to provide care for them until age 18 with therapy and rehabilitative activities. ALTSO also teaches and supports the orthopedic professionals of these countries to help bridge the gap in medical care between the developed and developing worlds.
ALTSO has helped over 14,000 children access new opportunities earned through education, work, and mobility. It is thanks to your generosity that ALTSO can continue to aid these children across the globe.
