BENEFITING: ALZHEIMERS ASSOCIATION
ORGANIZER: ALZHEIMERS ASSOCIATION
EVENT: 2015 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 20, 2015
It's my fourth year on the Alzheimer's Association"s RunTriRide team, and likely to be my last Boston Marathon. With that, I'm setting out for a PR both with my time and my fundraising. Most of you know that I started running in my grandfather's memory, but I've learned and seen so much in these past years that my mission has become more than that. I run for other family members, those I know professionally, and friends whose families are affected. As you will see in the video posted below, Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death, and women are the epicenter - 2/3 of those suffering are women, and women provide 60% of the caregiving. The Alzheimer's Association raises money to both support caregivers and research for a cure. Thank you for all of your support!!

The Alzheimer's Association MA/NH Chapter is proud to announce that members of our "Run to End Alzheimer's - Boston 2015" team are running in the 119th Boston Marathon® on April 20, 2015. The Boston Marathon is the world's oldest annual marathon and ranks as one of the world's most prestigious road racing events. The Boston Marathon has distinguished itself as the pinnacle event within the sport of road racing by virtue of its traditions and longevity.
In 2014 the RUN TRI RIDE to End Alzheimer's raised over $1 million to support programs and services for those impacted with the disease. The Boston 2015 team is determined to continue this tradition of success, as we celebrate our 14th year!
