BENEFITING: ALZHEIMERS DRUG DISCOVERY FOUNDATION
ORGANIZER: ALZHEIMERS DRUG DISCOVERY FOUNDATION
In 2017 I am running in the New York Marathon to raise money for Alzheimer's research!
This will be my second marathon, having completed my first martahon in 2016 to also raise money for this devastating disease.
Founded in 1998, the Alzhemier's Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF) provides funding to leading scientists who are conducting the most promising, innovative Alzheimer’s drug research worldwide. The mission of the ADDF is to rapidly accelerate the discovery of drugs to prevent, treat and cure Alzheimer's disease.
In 2016, the team raised $100,000! I am proud and excited to be a part of the team for it's 2017 campaign!
Alzheimer's remains the only leading cause of death in Australia and America that can't be prevented, cured or even slowed.
