BENEFITING: Alzheimer's Association
EVENT: 2017 Boston Marathon
EVENT DATE: Apr 17, 2017
I am tired of having to say goodbye. I am done with it.
It feels like only a handful of years ago my wife Sarah and I were saying goodbye to her grandmother Marguerite.
A couple of years later it was Sarah's Aunt Nancy.
A year later it was my Uncle Noel.
Two years ago my Mother Marsha was diagnosed.
Today she stills knows who I am.
For that I am thankful.
However, I know the day is coming when she won't.
I am done with it.
Alzheimers has taken too much from our family and ALL OF OUR FAMILIES.
I need your help.
I am humbled to have been accepted to be a member of the "Run to End Alzheimer's - Boston 2017" team and am running in the 121st Boston Marathon® on April 17, 2017.
Alzheimer's disease is the 6th leading cause of death in the United States, and affects millions of people daily. More than 5 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. Currently, there is no cure.
Please consider donating to the cause. The first survivor of Alzheimer's is out there, but we won't get there without you.
