THE STORY:

Update 01/18/14 - inclunding company matches and raffle donations we earned a grand total of $3,155.

This will provides 6 families with professional "Connections Progam" support via the Alzheimer's Association!

Your kind support and donations are so appreciated! - Scotty

THE STORY:
Mom’s diagnosis of Alzheimer’s in 2008 sent a wave of fear through my family.  The anxiety level we experienced was debilitating – we didn’t know what to do first.  We were crushed and saddened.   We were spinning out of control and needed help.  So I turned to the Alzheimer’s Association.  They offered their kind hearts along with realistic and professional advice on what I should do next for Mom and our family.

Music saved me!  I’m working hard learning how to sing classical opera to raise funds and have fun.  My dream is to sing in a Rossini opera someday. When I sing I experience pure joy!  I will share that joy with you at my Tribute Recital benefitting and honoring the Alzheimer’s Association of Washington, my mother and all the wonderful caregivers and friends that helped keep her comfortable as well as wipe our tears.  Thank you!

I’m grateful the Alzheimer’s Association was there for me and my family. I want them to be there for you too.  Providing caring and compassionate service is expensive and the Alzheimer’s Association and I desperately need your help!

My GOAL:
Raise $20,000 to help provide 40 Washington State families with professional counseling and emotional support in 2014.  Your donation will help fund the “Connections Program” – a comprehensive program of assessment, planning and help to those facing difficult and unique situations involving family members & friends touched by memory loss and dementia.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Donate here now.  Please help me make a difference!  The minimum donation amount is $10.00 and your generosity will help families cope during a difficult time.

The first 70 donors of $100.00 or more will receive a complimentary bottle of “Joy” created especially for the Alzheimer’s Association by the generous spirits at Alexandria Nicole Cellars – 2011 Washington Winery of the year.  Joy is a unique blend of Rousanne, Marsanne and Viognier grapes originally from the Rhone Valley in France.  Joy has a beautiful floral bouquet, expresses layers of ripe Anjou pear, peach, and lychee nut with
All of these spectacular flavors come in an artist’s collector bottle for 2014, “Still Life with Pears and Grapes” by Impressionist, Claude Monet – 1867.

SING WITH ME:
January 18, 2014 at Shoreline City Hall (17500 Midvale Ave. N., Shoreline WA 98133) from 1:00-3:00

You will have the opportunity to win fabulous prizes – (1) 3-liter-size trophy bottle of “Joy”, (10) standard size bottles of “Joy”, (1) “Date with Destiny” – dinner & wine tasting for 6 at Alexandria Nicole Cellars (April, 2014), (3) Voice lessons from “Voice Lessons Seattle”.  Raffle tickets are only $10.00 each.

See you there - we’ll have will have a great time together!   If you aren’t able to donate now please come lend your heart to my cause – the recital is free.  (Please remember, you must be 21-years-old to qualify as a winner of a wine incentive gift or wine raffle prize)
