BENEFITING: BREAST CANCER COALITION OF ROCHESTER INC
EVENT DATE: May 11, 2014
It's Mother's Day, again.
Another year when I reflect on what being a mother means to me....and how grateful I am for the "mothers" in my life....and how much I miss my own. This June, it'll be 20 years since I lost my mother, and not a day goes by where I don't strive to be the woman that she was, the woman that she'll forever be in my heart.
As the mother of two beautiful boys, and the miraculous fact that I am negative for BRCA-1 & 2, I look forward to a lifetime of memories - a lifetime that breast cancer stole from her.
As always, I run in her memory. I run in the memory of the loved ones you lost. Whatever amount you can donate is so appreciated. Remember to leave the names of your lost angels or your victorious survivors - names that I'll wear with honor on race day.
Her fight is my fight.
We would love your company, feel free to join our crew - tutus are optional :)
