BENEFITING: Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles
EVENT: Little Rock Marathon 2013
EVENT DATE: Mar 03, 2013
This is my second marathon, but first time to fundraise. Nothing can describe how amazing it felt to have complete strangers cheer me on during my first marathon, the LA Marathon in 2012. This time around, I want to pass something forward to others and fundraise.
The alzheimer's disease runs in my family, affecting my grandmother and great-grandmother. I've also recently started volunteering for Southern California's local chaper of the Alzheimer's Association. It is for these reasons that I've chosen them to be the charity I'm asking you all to donate to.
I chose $345 as my fundraising goal, because my race goal is 5 hours and 45 min. Therefore, for every dollar you donate, you'll be supporting me during one minute of the race. I thank you in advance for your generousity and knowing you all care enough to help support this cause will definitely help me cross the finish line, for a second time!
