AT 8yrs old Amari has a heart of gold! I told Amari this year I may not have enough money to do her a big birthday party. Rather than complain or get upset she told me "it's ok mommy" I just wanna do two things for my birthday. I asked "what's that Amari" She said "feed the homeless and go to the drive through somewhere and pay for the person behind me meal". I was amazed at how selfless she was and how passionate she was about it, rather than have a party or recieve gifts she wanted to to feed the homeless. As a parent you do all you can to support your children so we created care packages which included soap, deodorant, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. She made meal bags with hotdogs, water, chips and bananas. We had enough for about 50 people We took it down town Atl yesterday and unfourtnely we ran out in about 10 mins and turned so many people away. It broke her heart that it wasn't enough. Her birthday is July 18 and I would love to surprise her with 200 care packages and food to take back on Monday. ANYTHING WOULD HELP PLEASE HELP ME MAKE HER DREAMS COME TRUE.
