BENEFITING: CYSTIC FIBROSIS FOUNDATION
Amber, who I affectionately refer to as Baby C (She is a triplet and was C baby in the group) began treatment at the University of Kentucky Clinic and we all kicked into action. The first walk that our family ever participated in we raised a few hundred dollars. We showed up walked the course, talked about Amber, shed a few tears and discussed what we were going to do to help her life the healthiest life possible.
Now, 7 years later our family works tirelessly year-round to raise awareness and funds for the CF Foundation. Auctions with car shows, Breakfasts with Santa, Yard Sales, T-shirt sales and a Golf Outing, we're always looking for ways to raise additional funds and give the ultimate gift of life to Amber and the 30,000 other American's who life with CF everyday.
For me, I'm not there everyday to help Amber with treatments, I can't find a cure but I can ask people to donate. I can work as hard as I possibly can to raise as much money as humanly possible and make this horrible disease disappear.
I've learned through the years, if you don't ask, people won't give. So here's me asking. Asking you to help me save the life of my niece, for family friends Hogan, Tyson and every other patient who fights everyday to make CF stand for Cure Found!
