AMEN- ALL MINE EAGLES NEST
Organized by: Tina Quick
I got my dog Eagle from church in 1996. I know people say that their animals are special, but there was just something different in Eagle. She loved everyone, human or animal. She never met a stranger. My Eagle loved to travel. We would laugh saying she traveled many more miles than a lot of people. I worked at a large factory and my husband would bring me lunch. Well Eagle would want to come to see me too. Although she really wanted to see all the other people that was on lunch break when I was also. We had started working with some animal rescues. Eagle adored being able to bring either puppies, and yes even loud little kittens home for her to love. We did this for many years and if people couldn't afford to come get the dog we would take them to them after verifying they were okay. My Eagle went to the Rainbow Bridge on February 9th, 2009. I was devastated and I still miss her today. I know she is leading the posse at the bridge. We want to start a rescue in Eagles honor. We have a building already. We have gutted it and put in new windows and doors. My husband had an accident and totaled our car. We are running short on funds to finish Eagles nest. We would be so grateful to be able to help the animals in our area.
