America is losing farmland at an alarming pace, nearly two acres per minute. Your donation to the preservation of historic Patterson Farm (settled See More

THE STORY:

Historic Patterson Farm in Bucks County, PA has produced abundant crops for over 330 years. Your tax deductible donation will help preserve it for future generations! Settled in 1683 by Quaker immigrants, Patterson Farm is one of the few remaining farms bordering Interstate 95 between NYC and Washington DC that grow vegetables and melons. Its farmhouses and barns are historic treasures that help tell the story of Pennsylvania's rural roots.

The 234-acre farm was acquired by Lower Makefield Township in 1998. It has since fallen into disrepair. Its' prime farmland is rented to award-winning farmers, but its historic homes, barns and agricultural out-buildings are in immediate need of maintenance. The possibility of government funding for its restoration is unlikely. We invite you to join with us to "Save the Farm"!

Patterson Farm Preservation, Inc., is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization formed for the purpose of restoring and preserving Patterson Farm. With your support and our hands-on effort we will completely restore Patterson Farm to its former magnificence. Donations are requested to cover materials and liability insurance required by the township. We'll provide updates with each project we complete.

Your donations are tax deductible and will help ensure Patterson Farm remains a vital, active farm that produces food and can provide a home for future generations of farmers who'll work the land.
