Hello Friends and Family!
As some of you may know, I am running the 2016 TCS New York City Marathon on Sunday, November 6th for Team American Red Cross, my first full marathon (26.2 miles!). I am lucky enough to be running one of the most exciting races, in the best city, with one of the most respected organizations in the world! The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors. Their mission is to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors, here at home and around the world. Help our team raise money for this amazing organization, by helping me reach my personal fundraising goal of $5,000 before October 31st 2016, the Monday before the big race!

I know first hand the incredible support the Red Cross provides in times of disasters, as I was stuck in the Denver Airport for 3 days due to a blizzard, and without the Red Cross, we would have been left hungry and cold. Obviously my experience pales in comparison to the relief the Red Cross provides, reaching an average of more than 100 million people across the globe each year during times of disasters, building safer communities, and helping to provide more than 40% of America’s blood supply. Thank you Red Cross for all you do and thank all of YOU for your future contributions to not only my fundraising goal, but to all the people the Red Cross helps every day!
