EVENT DATE: Nov 03, 2013
I am thrilled to be running the 2013 ING NYC marathon on behalf of AmeriCares. As one of its board members I am always looking for ways to expand my support. I believe in AmeriCares’ mission and this marathon gives me a unique opportunity to get the word out about this great organization.
Whenever there’s a disaster, AmeriCares is one of the first relief organizations on the scene – whether it’s after Hurricane Sandy, the tsunami in Japan, or the earthquake in Haiti. AmeriCares aid deliveries around the globe are helping to save lives and reduce suffering in the face of poverty and disease. And here in the U.S., thanks to AmeriCares, thousands of uninsured people are getting the medical help they need.
As a local business owner in Stamford, CT, I’m very aware how AmeriCares Free Clinics in Connecticut are helping the uninsured, and am excited about the new free clinic scheduled to open in Stamford in the fall.
Join me in helping AmeriCares continue to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Please consider making a gift to support my fundraising goal of $10,000!
Thanks for your help.
