Please support disabled veterans, police and firefighters, along with other adults and children with disabilities from around the country who will travel to Pismo Beach, California, September 5th to 8th to experience the thrill of surfing! Many of the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines lost limbs, were burned, have PTSD and varying degrees of other injuries from serving in operations overseas while police and fire heroes were injured in the line of duty. AmpSurf along with professional and local surfers will provide “adaptive surfing instruction” for Operation Restoration VIII. This unique program brings the healing power of the ocean and adaptive surfing together for an experience that is mentally, physically and spiritually rehabilitating! The participants will also have the opportunity throughout the week to play golf, go kayaking, outrigger canoeing and other fun outdoor activities. AmpSurf also provides additional outdoor adventure programs such as hiking, fishing and surf clinics on the East Coast and West Coast. Your support is needed and truly appreciated.
