I am on a mission to raise funds to build a cafe for the students at Oloosinon Elementary School in Trans Mara, Kenya. All funds raised will go directly into the construction work and my group will go to Kenya in Feb 2014 to help building it.
Your donation, no matter it's $10, $50, $100, will be used to improve the infrastructure of the school and I promise I will bring the kid's smile back to you as a thank you for your support!
See Mei's story below for how all this is started.

My recent safari trip to Kenya brought me to the community development work in Trans Mara by AMS unexpectedly. After site visit, interviews, on line research and careful comparison, I am convinced that AMS is the right organization for me to work with to make impact both on the community's development and on the volunteers themselves. I am committed to organize a volunteer trip to Kenya.
What is in need right now is to build a cafeteria for Oloosinon Elementary School, including a dinning hall and a kitchen. Currently the school hosts near 600 students from nearby Maasai villages. After raising enough fund, volunteers will travel to Trans Mara to participate the construction of the cafeteria.
All fund raised here will directly go into purchasing construction materials and equipment for the cafeteria.
