Join No Barriers and the Twin Cities community as we Walk with the Warriors Saturday, June 11 at 9 AM.
Rally your friends, family and colleagues to walk for No Barriers Warriors, honoring not only veterans with disabilities but all of the brave men and women who have, or are currently, serving our country.
No Barriers Warriors, a program of No Barriers USA, improves the lives of veterans with disabilities through curriculum-based experiences in challenging environments. All experiences are cost-free to the veteran and we need supporters like you to help us raise funds so we can continue to impact the lives of more veterans and their families.
There is no registration fee to participate in the Walk however we encourage all walkers to set a fundraising goal. The average walker raises $200 - beat the average and earn great rewards while supporting our nation’s veterans. The first fundraising milestone in which you are eligible for rewards is $100.
TIME: Registration opens at 8 AM; Program and Walk kick off at 9 AM; then walkers will enjoy an inspirational program where you'll hear more from No Barriers and the veterans with disabilities we serve. Rock climbing and ropes courses at Fort Snelling Base Camp are open throughout the day!
DETAILS: This event is an in-person walk to expand support of the national Walk with the Warriors campaign and reach our supporters' communities. The 5K route begins at Fort Snelling Base Camp and continues through Fort Snelling State Park.
Warriors to Summits, a team of 13 warriors sponsored by Wells Fargo, embarks on a life-transformative journey to the Wind River Range of Wyoming on June 11; join us and walk in their honor as we support these veterans by showing them they are not alone in their journey. They will be walking an average of 5-miles per day on their expedition - walk this 5K in their footsteps and meet some of our No Barriers Warriors Alum along the way.
