EVENT DATE: May 07, 2017
In October 2016, my dad was diagnosed with the debilitating disease Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). This diagnosis is a hard pill to swallow, and coming to terms with it has been beyond difficult. The ALS Society of BC supports ALS patients and their families in many amazing ways. I have decided to do what I can to bring more awareness to others about ALS, and to give back to an organization that will be by my families side through this chapter of our lives. This Spring I will be running the BMO Marathon, raising money for the ALS Society of BC. I would love to be able to raise a sufficient amount of money to assist the ALS Society in helping those affected by this terrible disease. Thank you in advance for your help, as it means the world to myself and my family.
