WHAT IS THE WHITE CANE WALK? White Cane Walk is Cleveland Sight Center’s annual event to raise critical dollars needed to support its mission and raise awareness of the agency and its services. Join us as we walk 1.25 miles in beautiful University Circle! Money raised is vital to keep many programs and services in place for clients, many of which are not covered by medical insurance--including white canes.
DID YOU KNOW: • The average cost of a white cane is $30. • $200 provides two hours of Braille instruction to a child who is blind or has low vision, in his or her own school. • $400 provides four hours of orientation and mobility training to those who use a white cane. • $600 covers the cost of a Highbrook Lodge camper to attend camp for four days. The event is fun for all ages and there will be activities including face painting, balloon artists, music, dancing, contests and more!
CAN'T WALK WITH ME? Please make a donation to support our team and the programs of Cleveland Sight Center. Thanks!
