"...and no matter what, God gave us two."
Organized by: Justine Streng
It is with a heavy heart that we create this donation page. This week, Jace and Kasen Schneider blessed this world with their presence, and left to be with the Lord. Kaitlin is currently receiving medical attention, and in recovery. Below are more details on what unfolded this week from Kait and JC’s own words. While both Kaitlin and JC have shown great strength and faith during this time, the healing process has only just begun. In the coming months, Kaitlin and JC are going to be met with significant medical bills. We would like to make the financial burden non-existent, which is why this donation page has been created. Every prayer said and dollar donated will significantly help the Schneider family.
To Kaitlin and JC: We love you both with all our hearts, and know that you are never alone. The strength and peace that you have demonstrated during this time has impacted all those around you. Jace and Kasen are blessed beyond measure to have loving parents that are willing to give their all for both of them. Jace and Kasen are looking down on both of you with love, and are waiting for the day that you are all reunited for eternity.

Tonight we say goodbye to our firstborn's physical body, although we are confident that his beautiful soul is now with Jesus. I delivered John Curtis IV, referred to as Jace, on Monday, September 26, 2016, at 3:09 am. He weighed 13 ounces and was 10.5 inches long. He came in to this world peacefully, and took his last breathe in the arms of his daddy. Jace was surrounded and held by all of his immediate family. I am so grateful to have been able to carry him for the 22 weeks, and 3 days that I did. Please pray for his brother Kasen, who is holding on and fighting in utero. We are confident Kasen will be safe, whether in the arms of us here on Earth, or with his twin brother in Heaven. Thank you for the overwhelming outreach of support. We are so grateful to have you all in our lives. Our boys are so loved, and no matter what, God gave us two.

Today Kaitlin and I said goodbye to our second little angel, Kasen Gregory Schneider. He was born at 3:20 pm and was 15.8 ounces and 12 inches long. Kasen came into the world very peacefully and passed away safe in my arms. He fought so hard to stay with us but gave his life to save his mommy. I know that when he passed he was with Jesus and was met in heaven by his brother Jace who was waiting for him. Kaitlin is in critical but stable condition after suffering complications but is getting better by the hour. Kaitlin and I are blessed that we were able to spend as much time with the boys as we did and will always cherish each and every moment that we had with them. I cannot express how much I love my wife. She has shown me what bravery and courage really is and I am so proud of her and how hard she fought for our little bears throughout this entire journey. I am truly honored to be her husband. I also want to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, care, and compassion during this difficult time it has been much needed and has not gone unnoticed. We love you all so much!
