The goal of the Andersen Elementary school garden club is to educate young students about nutrition and the environment. In the club, students will not only build a garden and grow their own vegetables, but also learn about nutrition and nature through lessons. It aims to give them the tools to make healthy and informed meal choices as well as connects them to the environment and ecosystem they live in. The club is still in its infancy and requires funds to start. With your donations, we plan on building raised beds, purchasing lesson material, installing a watering system and buying tools and seeds. When the project is finished, we will have planted a beautiful vegetable garden that the students can interact with and learn from! Your donations are greatly appreciated; thank you for helping Andersen Elementary start something new and exciting!
