Andre plays to win in life
Organized by: Kimberly Aaronson
EVENT DATE Jul 03, 2015
Andre is trying to go to the New England Patriots camp starting in mid-July to train with the best to accomplish his best. After which he will follow through with the HS coaches invitational training, mid summer pre-season football camp and HS football training. Football is his life, he says. He has been known as #60 for several years. It is his goal to train, to work his way up over the next years to a college football scholarship. The discipline, the respect, the mental and physical conditioning he gains from this far out ways the bumps and bruises. The role modeling by the male coaches substitute for what has been missing is his life. This young man watches football day and night after homework, learning about the players, absorbing, studying their trials and tribulations, their losses and come backs, and their commitment to training from HS on. His persistant determination to overcome is really a mirror for his life. He is already thinking ahead to college and fulfilling his aspiration to bring his skills learned in football to become search and rescue in the Coast Guard. He wants to help people, he said. That's his dream. I want to help him make it so. This is one step on the way there.
