Children of our fallen military and first responders have to grow up without their biggest mentor during their crucial developmental years. Funds raised from the Chick-fil-A First 100 Skate-A-Thon will help provide them healthy activities and mentoring as they grow into adults.
Sign up to Skate with the Cows for this great cause and win Free Chick-fil-A for a year!* Skating takes place November 6th - 7th from 10:30 pm until 6:00 am around the Chick-fil-A Garden of The Gods parking lot. You must be 18 and older to participate.
There is $25 non-refundable registration fee that includes a t-shirt, optional skate rental, snacks and event photos.
To be eligible and receive your number in the first 100 you must:
1) Click "Join the Event" and "Register for the Event" and submit your $25 registration fee.
2) Take the Fundraising Pledge - By checking the box you acknowledge the intent of this event is a fundraiser for charity and agree to make a good faith effort to fundraise as part of your participation in the Chick-fil-A First 100 Skate-A-Thon.
3) Upload your photo and a bio telling donors who you are and why you are participating.
Once these steps have been completed, your ranking as a first 100 or 50 alternate participants will be emailed to you along with all event information including complete rules and fundraising information.
Fundraising is optional, but strongly encouraged. The more money each person raises, the longer breaks they will earn along with the opportunity to win great prizes and impact kids lives. The First 100 participants to register and complete the all-night skate will receive free Chick-fil-A food for a year! *52 Chick-fil-A Sandwiches or 52 Free Meals for top 10 fundraisers. Up to 50 alternates may also participate in hopes someone drops out and are guaranteed a partial prize upon completion.
Funds raised will go to Angels of America's Fallen (AOAFallen) to provide healthy activities for children of our fallen so they can pursue a passion of their choice with a coach or instructor who can mentor them. When AOAFallen provides the activities to the children, they commit to sticking with them from the time they sign up all the way until they are 18 years old. Because the children's parent volunteered to serve, and gave all while doing so, they deserve support throughout the entire time they are growing up without them. You can have a very positive impact on the life of a child who's sacrifice without their parent is ongoing
