A New Home for the Children of Andrea Hughes.

Thirty Two year old Andrea Huges a mother 9 children, died tragically in a road accident in Antigua, late March 2014. Ms. Huges went to run an errand and while walking was struck by a motor vehicle and died later at the hospital.
The childrens ages are between six to twelve years old, inlcuding three sets of twins. The picture of Andrea Huges was taken in 2006, when she was pregnant with her 3rd set of twins.
The family’s current home is a small, wooden two-bedroom cottage. The living room/kitchen area has been converted into a bedroom to facilitate beds, cribs and other containers used to store the children’s clothing, shoes, toys and school materials. The family currently has no running water or electricity.
The Childrens father, Dane Hamilton currently works two jobs to help support the family, but does not have the finacial means to proivde a new home for his children.
This project is being organized by some concerned citizens in Antigua who were moved by the familys current living situation. All proceeds will go directly to the funding of a home for this family.
A local contractor is contributing 35% of cost. An addtional 40,000 EC is needed to complete the home.
