A tiny gray kitten was hit by a car, badly injuring her eye and fracturing her back leg and pelvis. She was picked up by Animal Control and brought to the local pound, where she would remain for the next week, with only pain medication and no medical care for her injuries. She was lucky she was not euthanized due to her injury. A concerned animal control staffer called CARE to ask if we could take her, and of course we said yes and welcomed the kitten into a safe foster home. Immediately after, this sweet little girl underwent a long and extensive surgery to remove her damaged eye and realign her broken pelvis. Her leg may still need to be amputated due to nerve damage from the fractured hip and leg. Despite what she has been through, Miracle just keeps purring. The veterinary staff is amazed at how loving and sweet she is considering all she has been through. She expresses her gratitude for getting the medical care she needs. So far, the cost of her surgery is at $1200. Please make a donation for Miracle to help pay for her medical expenses so she can make a full recovery!
