Ringing in Hope | A New Year's Eve Celebration

When you register for the 2014 Ringing In Hope: A New Year’s Eve Celebration ( a 5K/10K race & 1K Fun Run/Walk) taking place December 31st, you will have the opportunity to contribute to vitally- needed funding for two participating charities: the Volunteers of America (Loudoun Emergency Homeless Shelter) and Loudoun Habitat for Humanity.
Loudoun Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their living conditions.
The Loudoun Homeless Shelter, operated by Volunteers of America (VOA), provides 45 emergency shelter beds for up to 89 days for homeless people, helping them to stabilize their housing situation and to regain self-sufficiency. This program serves families, single women, and men.
Each charity offers unique and specialized services that offer opportunities for others to transition into self-sufficiency and into affordable housing. By taking part in Ringing In Hope: A New Year’s Eve Celebration, participants will have the opportunity choose the participating the charity of their choice and help raise additional funding whether they walk or run in any of the Ringing In Hope events (5K/10K race or 1K Fun Run/Walk).
