It is that time of year again, we would be grateful for any donation to help the Down syndrome network of Arizona. We will be walking proudly in ASU's Homecoming parade for the fourth year in a row. Would love for anyone in the area to join us, it is such a fun day! We do this in support of our daughter Alex. She is five years old and is attending a "typical" preschool and has 25 little classmates to learn from and to teach acceptance. She is still a very independent, happy, fun-loving, and smart little girl. Her speech exploded this summer and she is communicating better. She is playing soccer again this season with Special Olympics. She definitely has some skills. It cannot be denied that her brother Jack is her favorite person on this earth, and the feeling is mutual. She imitates everything he does right down to facial expressions. You can imagine how well that goes over with a 7 year old boy. We would like to thank you in advance for your support!
Join 1,500 walkers in front of crowds of more than 30,000 at the ASU Homecoming Parade to show your support for acceptance and inclusion of individuals with Down syndrome. This event is open to all – parents, caregivers, friends, family members and individuals with Down syndrome. Strollers, wheelchairs and wagons are welcome!
