I am participating in the Walk to Remember to help children who have lost a loved one navigate the challenging grief journey ahead of them. Walk to Remember is a fundraiser for East Bay Agency for Children's Circle of Care - a unique program that supports children and their families when they are coping with a life threatening illness or the death of a loved one. This program helps children and families heal and learn to cope with this traumatic experience.
This year, I am walking in remembrance of my good friend, Eleanor Wall. Eleanor was one of my best friends in high school and she died at the age of 16 in a car accident. Eleanor's death was extremely difficult and overwhelming for me. My goal while working with children going through very difficult and overwhelming situations is to support them and give them a safe space to process and feel. Eleanor is always in my heart and I am a better person for having had her friendship.
Please contribute to my Walk to Remember so that no child has to walk their grief journey alone.
