Angels for Adyan

Shout out to y'all
April 01, 2016
Adyan's smile could light up a room. He was his father's shadow and constant companion. Adyan passed away unexpectedly on March 5th while undergoing a dental procedure under anesthesia. He was just four-and-a-half years old.
Adyan was a vibrant member of the Bonnie Brae Elementary School community in Fairfax, VA. He was in the FECEP/Head Start program, which is a comprehensive educational program that provides a wide variety of services to low income children and their families. Adyan leaves behind his devoted father, mother, a 7th grade sister, and a 12th grade sister (both at Robinson Secondary School).
Adyan's father reminded my friends and I on a recent visit that his son was a blessing, not a possession. Adyan's family was blessed with his life for four years and five months. His mother recently traveled back to her home country of Sudan to begin to process her grief with her extended family. Adyan's father is still in Fairfax, VA raising his two teenage daughters. Medical bills, including Adyan's helicopter transportation to the trauma center, are quickly piling up.
Thank you to Adyan's two angel teachers, Mary and Carmen. They taught Adyan so much and he, in turn, taught them so much. Thank you for your willingness to pitch in and make a difference for a family deserving of a thousand years of love. No donation amount is too little. 100% of the money raised will go to Adyan's family. This fundraiser is neither sponsored or endorsed by Bonnie Brae Elementary School or FCPS.
"There are no happy endings. Endings are the saddest part, so just give me a happy middle and a very happy start."
