Animal Rescue Fund
Organized by: Jennifer Farnum
I have spent a lifetime involved with helping animals of all sorts. From growing up volunteering at our local animal shelter starting at the age of six to becoming a Veterinary Technician to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing animals in need on my own since 2009. I am now under pressure to obtain my 501(c)3 non profit status as required by the state of Massachusetts to operate a legally proper animal rescue. Until I do this, I cannot accept anymore animals in need which is devastating when there are so many needing help. This licensing will also help benefit the animals in ways such as allowing the rescue to accept donations to help with their veterinary care, food and necessary supplies. It would also allow us to hold adoption events and be more involved with the public and assisting pet owners in times of need. So many great people and loving pet owners feel forced to give up their animals due to financial hardships, loss of their homes etc. and with being able to accpet donations a fund could be started to help these families temporarily while they get back on their feet. Please consider donating to this cause, the animals will thank you!
