Anish's race for life.
Organized by: Lola Taggart
Anish is a young man of 31. He was born in India and left at an orphanage. He remained at the orphanage until he was 10 at which time he lived on the streets. He survived years of hardship, abuse and starvation. He struggled and was able to gain an education and training which allowed him to find work and settle down to have a family of his own. He met and married a young woman also from India. They have a baby boy. Anish has Melanoma, a deadly cancer which is winning the battle for his life. His job does not include health benefits and he and his wife often go hungry to make sure their baby is fed and has diapers. There is not enough money to pay for chemotherapy, the oral medication he needs to take or the ointment for his skin. He has struggled all of his life to get to this point. Please help him beat his cancer so that he can live to grow old with his wife and play with his grandchildren.
