BENEFITING: MYTEAM TRIUMPH
A message from Annelise’s Mom:
Hello, my name is Jessica Schneider, former Army reservist, wife of retired disabled Marine Corps vet Edward Schneider and mother of two. My son Ronan is six and my daughter Annelise is nine and suffers from epilepsy, Autism and severe learning disabilities. I have been an avid runner since the age of fourteen. A few months ago, I discovered myTEAM TriumphL: Ainsley's Angels of Eastern Carolina through Michelle Smith and found a way to involve my daughter in an activity I love.
This year I have already run in several events with her with Ainsley's Angels including my favorite 10k, Hope for the Warriors run, in May. It would greatly enhance my ability to run races with her in a customized more aerodynamic chair. We are signed up to run the Marine Corps half marathon in September, so our goal is to have the racing chair by then. This event will also mark the two year anniversary of the local Ainsley’s Angels organization, so I invite all of my family and friends to include the huge extended family of the military, to join us for the big race on Camp Lejeune and/or to help in any way you can to make this dream happen. Keep Calm AAnd Run On.
