THE STORY:
Pelotonia is a grassroots bike ride that helps fund cancer research at Ohio State University. Since the first ride in 2009, Pelotonia has raised more than $60 million dollars and 100% of donations go directly to support fellowships and grants for OSU cancer researchers.
I am a research scientist at OSU that is supported by one of the Pelotonia fellowships. With family members that are unfortunately too familiar with cancer, I am participating in Pelotonia this year for the first time.
