Ainsley's Angels is thrilled to help ensure Annie can soon roll with the wind in her very own Blade by Team Hoyt Running Chairs. As the father of a very special girl that has races with me over 80 times, I know the positive energy surrounding the start line, the togetherness of every member preparing to "roll with the wind", and the love we all have for each other is a therapy like no other.
Here is a special note from Annie's friend, Melinda:
Hello! Annie and I have been working together for over a year now, and we have grown into more than just a basic teacher and student relationship...we are more like sisters! We do all types of activities together such as: shopping, swimming, dinner dates, going to the movies and now we want to RUN! Annie was born with Rett Syndrome, an awful neurological disorder that mainly affects girls which can alter talking, walking, use of her hands...ect. Just because Annie has a different ability than most people, she is very smart and can hear and understand people! Annie and I want to see if we can raise enough money to purchase a HOYT running wheelchair, so we can raise awareness and run races together. Annie and I are very excited about this opportunity and would appreciate your donations and love! To learn more about Rett Syndrome visit Annie's page. Thank you!
YES, YOU CAN...Any donation would be appreciated to ensure the thrill of rolling with the wind and crossing a road race finish line!
Click the orange button in the upper right of this page or e-mail President@AinsleysAngels.org for a link to make a donation using PayPay and/or for a mailing address should you prefer to donate by check. We will ensure all donations appear on this page as off-line donations.
Another way to help, is to spread the word of our message and efforts:
1. Visit www.AinsleysAngels.org to purchase the children’s book, Born an Angel, written by Ainsley’s 13-year old sister and donate it to a local elementary school library! Proceeds go to the Ainsley's Angels Foundation.
2. Follow us on Instagram and Twitter: @ainsleys_angels
