Hey! So you are probably wondering what this is and I am here to explain. Recently I have joined NICASA Teen Court, which is a wonderful program that gives kids second chances. How it works is say a kid gets caught by the police, if the crime was just a misdemeanor they get the choice to go through teen court or traditional court. Teen Court offers them a second chance as where traditional court is more hard on them. We only accept kids who this is their first offense and their crime wasn't that horrible. We listen to their story, choose their way of making things better, and if they follow through they get to not have their crime on their permanent record. We usually make them do hours and hours of community service, apologize to who was ever involved, and if they were involved with drugs and or alcohol we make them go through a program for that. THE REASON I NEED YOUR HELP: Teen Court recently got cut from the states budget and the program needs YOUR help to raise money so we can keep on helping kids get a second chance and better themselves. Any amount of money is helpful. Please donate. Thank you for taking your time and reading my message! :)
