Travis would love an iPad. An iPad facilitates learning and communication, which would really help Travis. Travis learns better through imagery than words, and the iPad can help ease the frustration when he has difficulty communicating. iPads have been said to help children with Autism calm down and focus, and calming tools are very beneficial to Travis as he escalates easily. He gets to use an iPad at school, and that is what makes his day. Travis is very focused and productive during his time on the iPad.

Travis is an adorable and precocious 12 year old whose main interest is in movies. He collects movies and can tell you anything about any movie you ask, from the production company and director to actors, ratings, and plot. He has been diagnosed with Autism and is in a fully contained special education classroom. He also receives developmental disability services. Travis enjoys dressing up, playing outside, and video games, but most of all, he enjoys movies. He even developed his own movie summaries with creative new ideas and current actors.
