Best Friends Animal Society holds as its mission to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. Best Friends works to end the killing in America's animal shelters through community programs and partnerships across the country, as well as maintains its animal Sanctuary where, at any given time, 1,600 animals are receiving the medical help they need, and getting love and acceptance to help them overcome their past.
