Ready, set...REST & FUNDRAISE! That's what this fundraising challenge is all about.
Starting October 13th all registered participants in Rest for a Cause will embark on 15 minutes of 'rest' practicing a sleep-based meditation techqnique for 21 days and simultaneously raise money for an exciting new documentary film that could impact human and planetary life: A Probiotic Life.
By donating to this cause you will be supporting a Rest for a Cause participant to be good to themselves (yay self care!) and you will be good to others by giving money to finish this important film (yes!).
You can DONATE or, if you're not registered but would like to participate, you can REGISTER to set up your own fundraising page and participate in 21 days of a yoga nidra meditation "nap."
Why raise money for A Probiotic Life?
What if we had something other than failed exercise routines and self help to explain our behaviors, our weight, or our risk for disease? And what if it had to do with the trillions of organisms living inside us—especially those in the gut?
A Probiotic Life is a documentary film that explores how simple small changes to diet and lifestyle could go a long way to protect, restore and rebalance your gut and how this can dramatically alter your mental and physical health.
Here are just some of the remarkable stories the documentary filmmakers are following:
- a doctor with multiple sclerosis who changed her diet, emerged from her wheelchair, and now works full time.
